The Cathedral
The Cathedral of Santa María de Palma, a Levantine Gothic-style construction built on the shores of the Bay of Palma between 1229 and 1346, was declared a Historical and Artistic Monument in 1931. It has the largest rose window of all existing Gothic cathedrals.
Bellver Castle
This Majorcan Gothic-style castle (Fourteenth Century) is located on a hill, 367 feet above sea level, in a quiet area surrounded by trees and with magnificent views of the city, the port and the Tramuntana Mountains. Its name comes from old Catalan language “bell ver”, which means beautiful view.
Es Baluard Museu d'Art Contemporani de Palma
The museum is home to works by artists such as Picasso, Miró and Barceló among many others. Address: Plaça de la Porta de Santa Catalina, 10. Open from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. from November to May and from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m. from June to October. Closed Mondays. Phone: +34 971 908 200.
